About Us

The Big Game Records Club of British Columbia was formed in Kamloops, B.C., in 1969 - originally as the "Trophy Wildlife Records Club of BC" and subsequently as the "Wildlife Records Club of BC" - with the objective of maintaining a permanent record of trophy-class big game taken in British Columbia.

Using the Boone and Crockett scoring system, the Club has scorers throughout the province for the convenience of sportsmen. Since 1982, directorship of the Club has been based on Vancouver Island.

Dedicated to wildlife conservation, selective hunting and fair chase, the Club invites the membership of those sportsmen with similar ideals.

Membership fees contribute to the costs of our record keeping endeavours. We have also set up a funding program that accepts applications for big game enhancement projects or other activities that further the goals of our organization.
