The Big Game Records Club of British Columbia is a non-profit Society established 57 years ago.  Our goals are to maintain a permanent record of outstanding big game from the province of British Columbia; set standards and guide-lines in the rules of fair chase and sportsmanship; and to create an awareness and interest in our exceptional wildlife resources and their conservation.  Our mission statement could not come to fruition without the generous support of both old and new memberships. 

New membership fees contribute to the cost of our data collection and record keeping endeavours.  We have also set up a funding program that accepts applications for big game enhancement projects and we are continually offering our support through donations for wildlife and habitat initiatives such as our recent donations and support to the Chronic Wasting Disease program in the Kootenay region.  We also offer our support to other like minded conservation organizations throughout the province.  Revenue generated from new memberships also assist in funding publications of the Big Game Records Club of British Columbia record book "Big Game Records of British Columbia".  The Big Game Records Club has published 8 editions of the "Big Game Records of British Columbia".  From the first edition back in 1970 containing 573 entries to the latest 8th edition in 2023 containing close to 11,000 entries.
